First-grade to sixth-grade elementary school students who want to use to spend time safely in the Waku-waku Plaza Room most of the times and get together to make friends through activities after school, on Saturday, or during extended vacation period.

1. User: From first to sixth grades elementary school students

*1 Students who go to Private schools or Special schools can also use the Plaza.

Please refer to the link at the bottom of the page for school districts.

*2 Students who need special care can also use the Plaza. Please contact us in advance, because we should prepare to increase staff depending on what supports are needed.

2. Office hours:

Monday to Friday: After school to 6:00pm

Saturday: 8:30am to 6:00pm

Extended vacation period except Saturday (vacation of spring, summer, winter and so on) *:

8:30am to 6:00pm

*Except for the closed days (Sundays, National holidays, Year-end and new-year holidays)

3. Holidays: Sundays, National holidays, year-end and new-year holidays (Dec 29th～Jan 3rd)

4. Application start date:

We start accepting the applications on March 1st of the year when you hope to start using it.

(Ex: If you want to start using it on April 1st,2021, you can apply on March 1st, 2021.)

*You can apply for it any time after April. Please contact the Waku-waku Plaza directrly.

5. Where to apply for:

The Waku-waku plaza which is located at the elementary school where the student goes to.

6. New 1st Grade:

We explain how to apply for it at the Admission Information Session held after Jan.

7. Fee:

Free. However, please enroll in an insurance for sudden accidents (About 800 yen per year). When you participate in some events, you may be required to pay participation fee. Additionally, we prepare a snack to students those who want them. (About 110 yen per day)

8. Capacity:

No capacity. Anyone who has applied can use it.

9. Extended use:

For children whose parents cannot come and pick up by 6:00pm because of their working condition, etc., we prepared the extended use for 1 hour, “Childcare Support/Guidance of the Waku-Waku Plaza”. Please see the related link below.
