With the introduction of the new residency management system on July 9, 2012, the alien registration system has been abolished. The "Alien Registration Card" that had been kept at the municipality until then is now kept at the Ministry of Justice, so the municipality will not be able to issue a Certificate of Matters Recorded on the “Alien Registration Card”.
If you need a certificate of information on your alien registration card prior to July 9, you can request for disclosure to the Immigration Service Agency of the Ministry of Justice in accordance with Article 12 of the “Act on the Protection of Personal Information Held by Administrative Organs”.
