The following procedure are required if continuing to use the motorcycles. (Under 125 cc).

1 Register in your new municipality where you move in without filing a Unregister a Vehicle in Kawasaki city.

You may be able to receive a new license plate at your new city, the town or village with your original license plate still on.

Required Items:

A. License Plate

B. Certificate of Issuance of License Plate

C. The documents verifying identity of applicant (Driver's License, etc.)

(Note)The method differs depending on the municipality. Check with your municipality for details.

2 Register at Your New Municipality after filing the unregister a vehicle in Kawasaki City.

Please go though a process for the unregister a vehicle at Taxation Office/ Taxation Branch Office.

(1) Contact counter

In any of Kawasaki city Administration Desk, Municipal Residents Taxation Section of Taxation Office /Administration Division, Taxation Branch Office.

(Note) The application form which has sent by postal mail, email or fax cannot accept. Please apply at the counter.

(2) Office hours

Mon ~ Fri, 8:30am to 5:00pm

(Excluding Saturdays, Sundays, National holidays, Dec 29th ~ Jan 3rd)

(3) Required Items

A. License Plate

B. Certificate of Issuance of License Plate

C. Light Vehicle Tax Receipt

D. The documents verifying applicant’s identity (Driver’s License, etc.)

Please register in your municipal where you moving-in since we will provide a Certificate of Unregister a Vehicle.

3 For the procedure of motorcycles and a light vehicle exceeding 125 cc, please contact the following.
