1. Where to apply

Please apply to the Community Care and Support Center (Health and Social Welfare Center and Public Health Center), Children and Families' Section in a ward where you live.

2. Application Period

Applications can be accepted any time, but it shall be submitted by 10th of previous month of desired month of admission in principle. (When the 10th falls on Saturday, Sunday, or a national holiday, it shall be by the last business day before that.)

For the application period for April 1st admission in each year, please contact the Community Care and Support Center (Health and Social Welfare Center and Public Health Center), Children and Families' Section in a ward where you live or the Nursery Policy Section, Child Care Promotion Department, Child Development Bureau.

3. Required Items

For the application of the admission to an approved childcare center, the following documents are required. Each designated form can be obtained at the the Community Care and Support Center (Health and Social Welfare Center and Public Health Center), Children and Families' Section in a ward where you live. In addition, you can also download the files from the home page of an application for admission to an approved childcare center on the site of Kawasaki Parenting Support.
