Monthly childcare fees for an approved childcare center are calculated based on the age of your child and the total amount of municipal residence tax of your family. For details, please see the reference page, 「Fees for licensed nursery school (child care fee)」

Please be aware that fees will be incurred even if child is unable to attend the approved childcare center due to sickness, for childcare based on fact that your child are enrolled.

It is possible that depends on the approved childcare center and age of the children, staple food bills might be charged separately.

* If you move out through the month due to a move, the childcare fee will be prorated.

Regarding the payment method of approved childcare center, there are 2 ways, bank transfer or payment with a payment notice, however except for special circumstances, the city requests that payments be made by bank transfer.

Application forms of bank transfer (automatic payment) are available for at the Community Care and Support Center (Health and Social Welfare Center and Public Health Center), Children and Families' Section or each childcare center (within Kawasaki city).

Complete the form and submit it to your preferred financial institution.

Due to bank transferring tends to concentrate from March to June, it might take about 2 months for your account application to complete.

For those whose bank transferring has completed, a "Notice for bank transferring" will be sent. Please pay with a payment notice until your process is completed.

* There is no problem even if the person obliged to be paid and the account holder are different.

For Certified combined nursery and kindergarten facilities, Small-scale childcare, Family childcare, Office childcare, please pay before due date based on the facilities' payment method.
