The Kawasaki Shimin Card ("Kawasaki Citizen Card") was issued from May 14, 2007 until December 28, 2017. If you have registered your seal (Inkan Toroku), the Card can be used as a seal registration card continuously.

Additionally, we appreciate for using the Administrative Service Terminal with the Kawasaki Citizen Card user identification function, however, the service was abolished on December 28, 2017.
In Kawasaki City, we provide issuing service of various certificates such as copies of Juminhyo (certificate of residence) by using "My Number" Card (a card with the individual number) with multifunction copiers installed at about 53,000 convenience stores across the country.
Please consider applying for My Number Card (free-of-charge for the first issue) if you have the Kawasaki Shimin Card ("Kawasaki Citizen Card").
