Services that you will receive in the Community Care and Support Center before the baby's birth are as follows.
1 Parenting classes
In the classes, you will learn lifestyles during pregnancy, how to eat right, dental care, how to be prepared to make safe and easier delivery, delivery, how to raise a baby, clothing, how to give a baby a bath, family planning, etc., and make parenting friends at the same time. (Free)
2 Prenatal Checkup
We provide a specific amount of subsidies to expecting mothers who receive Mother and Child Health Handbook ("boshi kenko techo") for part of cost for 14 prenatal checkups. The expecting mothers are responsible for the cost of checkups that exceeds the subsidy amount.

3 Midwifery Home Support Program ("Nyuin Josan Seido")

4 Health Guidance Support
After your baby is born, please submit the notification of birth attached to The Mother and Child Health Handbook ("boshi kenko techo"). As your request, a neonatal instructor (midwives, health nurses, etc.) will visit at home and give health guidance. To a child weighing less than 2,500g, especially an area health nurse or midwife from the Community Care and Support Center will visit.
