When an emergency as listed below occurs, we run siren from a radio broadcast system for disaster prevention administration.

When you hear the siren, get correct information announced by the city, prefecture, or our country via TV, radio, websites, etc., and please stay calm and act properly.

1　Evacuation Instruction/Evacuation Recommendation

Evacuate to a safe place such as evacuation shelters.　

　Siren: run 60 seconds

2　Tsunami Information

　Immediately, leave sea or river and move to a safe place such as tsunami escape shelters.

　(1) Siren for Major tsunami warning

　Siren: run 3 seconds → 2 seconds off → 3 seconds run

　(2) Siren for tsunami warning

　　Siren: run 5 seconds → 6 seconds off → 5 seconds run

　(3) Tsunami advisory

　　Siren: run 10 seconds → 2 seconds off → 10 seconds run

3　Tokai Earthquake Information Announcement (Warning declaration)

　Attention to the information via TV, radio, and act calmly.

Siren: run 45 seconds

4　Civil Protection （Information on ballistic missile, aerial assaults, guerrillas/special units Strikes, and large-scale terrorism）

　Stay inside, pay attention to the information via TV, radio, and act calmly.

　Siren: run 14 seconds

(The sound is different from the others.)
